The Depths of Trisuli

The average flow of Trisuli river during the month of October is about 300 cubic meter per second  and its depth almost about 2000 ft. Being 5 feet something and floating in a river with that speed really makes you realize how big the world really is. There was something in the cold water of Trisuli that day in the depth of which my deepest emotions flowed with. There is nothing in this world that teaches you the importance of letting go better than a river can. The constant flow of a river so beautifully teaches you that resistance creates flood while adaptability creates new paths. For so long I've thought that if I plan my life a certain way and move accordingly that is the only way I can go. I've clung on to what ifs and potentials just because in my mind it made sense and that is the only way it should go. Life has been unpredictable the past year and now I'm learning to let go and let be.  Only a few hours in that river and the boat comes across a different kind of flows in accordance to the where it's bedded. Life brings you across hurdles and the best thing you can do solve any problem is simply motioning yourself around it. Where there's stones you move fast, increase your strength, your flow, your build and when life lets you along a straight path move peacefully until the next stone comes your way. What makes a river more beautiful and fun to experience are the rapids along the way and so is life. A life where you haven't faced challenges isn't  a life fully lived.

The faster a river flows the clearer the water, the more you clear the negativies within you the more you make space for abundance, new experiences and growth. There will always be things in the world deeper than your own emotions but how you deal with the depths of your emotions will always determine how you tackle the  depths of the world. I've learned that if you allow yourself to bring growth in your life the universe also guides you through a way which leads you to where you're meant to be. When nothing seems to go your way, surrender and a path will form on its own. Let go of everything you're holding on to just because of your fears and abundance will come through.  The abundance of a river is something that never fails to amaze me. The more it lets go, the more it receives. It must be so beautiful to be something that connects the mountains to the oceans, the two greatest treasures of this world. To start at the highest point of the world with freshly melted snow and travel such long distances to reach the deepest parts of the world. I think that is how we live too. Everyone comes into this world with a fresh start and the path we follow defines who we become, determining our own depths but all eventually landing at the same outcome. Just like a river has to end somewhere we do too but along the way we create our own uniqueness. How lucky I am to be able to live in a country with over six thousand rivers each with its own uniqueness about it. For most of my life I've never really made an exact thought on who I really wanted to be like but from here on I definitely know that I want to be like the river. Calm and chaotic both but according to what the situation demands. Working to be better while trusting that I'll end up where I'm meant to be. Persisting on what I believe in but never resisting on what the universe wants to teach me. Giggling along the way just like the river does but also facing the challenges of life head on.

  1. I often relate to river too, but do river knows where ocean or it just flows with its faith?! And if trishuli a fresh watered river knew that his ultimate destination is salty, polluted and filled with dust , would it still chase the ocean ?
